Peel

7 tips for 3 stars in Peel

The second star asks you to keep the tray low, which means planning a few peels ahead. These habits help on every box.

  1. Look before you peel. The strip on top is not always the one to take. Ask what each peel uncovers.
  2. Count each color. Colors come in sets of three. If two reds are free and the third is buried, peel toward that third red first.
  3. Don't open a new color for nothing. Every new color takes a slot until its set is complete. Two half-finished colors are fine; four is asking for trouble.
  4. Finish what you start. A clear frees up to two slots at once. Chasing a clear usually beats grabbing a new strip.
  5. Free the long strips early. Long strips across the box hold many others down. Clearing them opens up more choices.
  6. Watch the tricky moments. On harder boxes, a peel that fits in the tray can still lose the box three moves later. If you're unsure, take the move that keeps the most colors one strip away from a clear.
  7. Play the same box again. Replays are free, and the lose screen shows the exact peel where it went wrong.
